I am almost certainly the last person on earth to start a blog. Everyone else has already done this, right? And with Crazy Aunt Purl and WendyKnits and Mason-Dixon Knitting and so very many others out there, and all doing a fine job thank you, is there even room for another crafty blog? And why did I choose the name "Crafty Peach"?
The answer to the last one: Nintendo. Sure, Peach (formerly Princess Toadstool) gets kidnapped by Bowser every time Mario looks away for even one second, but she still totally rocks. She's bright, she's quick, she's cheerful, and she can hover for several seconds in order to cross wide gaps. I think the constant kidnapping can be explained in one word: flighty. She's a bit flighty. Doesn't quite manage to keep an eye peeled for Bowser's evil plans from one minute to the next. Fortunately, as Peach herself said in Paper Mario, Bowser is basically a major bonehead. Mario beats Bowser every time, frequently with help from the lady herself, and they all live happily ever after till the next adventure.
If only she had a lovely bit of wool to fill the long boring hours in captivity...
