Wasps keep getting in my house

And I am not enjoying their company. I know it's 483 degrees outside, and they'd like a little air-conditioning, but I thought insects (or whatever wasps are) were such great communicators; you'd think word would have gotten around among the wasps that if you go in that house, you will be battered to death by a flyswatter. (Yes, by me. Several readers of this fine publication know of my debilitating childhood fear of stinging critters, but I have gotten over that to the point that I can batter a stinging critter to death with a flyswatter. That said, I'd still rather make El Fuego do it, if he's home.)

Speaking of laceweight, you may notice the UFO count is down to 6...I frogged the Himalaya Shawl. Poor Himalaya! It's not that I didn't love it, just that I was totally not going to finish it. Especially not after I noticed I'd made at least three mistakes. So I'm reclaiming the yarn, and someday I will conjure it into something lovely. Maybe I'll even give the Himalaya Shawl another go. Someday.
