Well, there were no takers for Daisy Chain, but the offer still stands. Let me know if you want it! (ETA: Daisy Chain is now spoken for - thanks for playing, all!)
In the meantime...
Here is Dublin Bay #1, several rounds into the foot. I quite like it. But there is something suspicious in th - what the - what is that ball of alpaca laceweight doing?! With my copy of Charmed Knits? Hey! You size 10's get away from there!
Speaking of laceweight, you may notice the UFO count is down to 6...I frogged the Himalaya Shawl. Poor Himalaya! It's not that I didn't love it, just that I was totally not going to finish it. Especially not after I noticed I'd made at least three mistakes. So I'm reclaiming the yarn, and someday I will conjure it into something lovely. Maybe I'll even give the Himalaya Shawl another go. Someday.

Just found your blog via Crazy Aunt Purl. Congrats on the big win!
I'm going back in to read for a while; don't know where you've been for so long. I thought I had read every knitting blog there was!;-)
Wasps--when it is cooler, like in the evening, go around your house and try to figure out where the nest is. By the time we found ours it was too late--they were in the walls, and had eaten through the wallboard, and came swarming into the room! There's a wasp spray that lets you stand 20 feet away while you spray the nest--or your local county's Vector Control will come and take care of it if it isn't in the house.
