(It's really hard to take a good picture of your dominant hand.) I'm gonna have to knit it again, on smaller needles, and there are a couple of "cast on 3 sts" directives that I believe I'll ignore this time. But I like it a lot, and knit it again I shall...well, I might wait till closer to the new year, so I can include it in my "Two Thousand and Lace" knitting. Hee!
Oh! "It"! Yes. It's Lucky K8, from the April '06 issue of MagKnits. I knit it on 3.25mm needles (the pattern calls for 3mm, which don't appear to exist in the US - hello, US needle makers! We would like to have a needle-size system that makes some sense, please!) with Knitpicks Shadow; the color is called "Campfire," I think. I definitely have enough yarn left to make a whole pair on smaller needles. My choices for smaller needles are 2.75mm or 2.25 mm, and this glove is so huge that I really may use the 2.25mm.
This is great! I sure missed yammering about my current projects.
Now that I think on it, I will save the Lucky K8 Redux for the new year...what I really need right now are real gloves, with whole fingers, in a nice worsted wool. Oh look!
More orange yarn, and my friends from Hogwarts! I believe I hear my needles calling.

Nice lacy pattern - never noticed that one before. I could do with a pair of those for driving to work - by the time the steering wheel has warmed up I'm there!
