To go with my lone sock, which should have a mate soon. You know, now that I've got the hat out of my system.
And my freshly-dyed yarn.
My new hat is an Urban Urchin, from the Stitch n' Bitch Calendar Horatio gave me for Christmas. (I confess: it's the January 11 pattern. I peeked ahead. But only a little bit! Only through January! I have no idea what February holds.) The yarn is Crystal Palace Fjord, which is a wonderful heavy-worsted weight wool that I want to hug and squeeze and name George, it is so fantastic. I've only just discovered it, and I must have more. Maybe I need another hat, because this one is great!
I'm totally spoiled in the calendar department this year, because Pinky gave me the Knitting Pattern-a-Day Calendar for my birthday. Iiiiii might have peeked ahead through February on that one. Hee!

Your hat collection looks a bit like mine! Hats are my favourite thing
to knit so I am easily distracted by them. Very cute addition.
I didn't get a SnB calendar this year but might yet pick one up in a sale - I'm keeping an eye open :)
I've been contemplating getting a pattern-a-day calendar for next year. Too late to get one this year, I think (I like to start things at the beginning), and I don't think my LYS has any in stock anyway. I have one of the stitches-a-day calendars, though, so that provides plenty of inspiration in the meantime. :D
