Tofutsie Ahoy!

Well, it was a slow weekend knitting-wise, but last night I finally finished the first anklet!

Ain't it adorable? You may be thinking, "Hey Peach, that sock is entirely too small to be seen when you're wearing a shoe." But that's only because I haven't told you until now that I am a big fan of the canvas mule.

Particularly the lime-green canvas mule.

Last week (or whenever it was) when I was frogging the original way-too-small sock, Miss Dashwood made several pointed statements to the effect that she really likes that yarn, so I decided that making anklets for myself would leave enough yarn over for a pair of socks for her as well. Tofutsies is 425 meters to a 100-gram ball, which is just another reason to love it - it's soft and lovely to work with and not at all splitty, and there's a ton of it in just one ball! (Well, 100 grams probably isn't quite a ton; that's just knitterly exuberance right there.)
