Some stuff for Friday

I always feel a bit at loose ends after I finish a big project, such as Peg. (Did I tell you about my new cardi? It's really excellent. I may have mentioned it.) Here's what I've been up to in the aftermath:


1. Lovely shell-stitch scarf, which is using up some leftover bits of Wool Ease.
2. Tofutsie socks, toe up, for Miss Dashwood; this is the first one, mid-heel-turn.
3. A set of coasters, because I suddenly felt protective of the new coffee table.

I also have a wee embroidery project, which I forgot to get into the picture, but that's okay. It knows I love it.

In other crafting news, Domovoi Shawl - it was bound to happen - has been relegated to a plastic bag in the closet. Unfortunately, the more I worked with that yarn, the less I liked it. It sheds like crazy, and the last few times I picked it up to work a pattern repeat, I had massive sneezing fits. In fact, I had a massive sneezing fit as I was packing it into the plastic bag. I'm actually considering cutting Domovoi loose and giving away the rest of the yarn, since it seems to induce allergy attacks in me. Maybe someone else would have better luck with it.
