Done!

Completed: the socks with my name on them!

(I act like I'm the only Julie - or Julia or Juliet, or Julian or Julius, or indeed Jules - on earth ever to go by Jules. But it really is sort of exciting to find something with your name on it, you know? And then knit it up.)

Critical information: Jules were knit on my usual 2.75mm double-points; the yarn is Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100g in Solid Pink. They're comfy and a bit slouchy, and loads of fun to knit. The fact that it took me three or four weeks to complete the pair only speaks for the laid-back comfyness of this pattern...no rush, let's just relax and knit a nice pair of socks. And for the picture, I posed them on one of the many sunflowers in our gardens this year that were randomly planted by local squirrels. This one is smack in the middle of my zucchini patch, and I'm still deciding whether it should be allowed to stay...though if I let it get this big, I'm probably leaning toward letting it stay, let's be honest. Welcome to the zucchini patch, Random Sunflower!
