First lesson learned
When you have your old sewing machine professionally cleaned and oiled and tuned up, and then you bring it home and measure it so you can sew it up a nice dust cover...

ahh well - it will still keep the dust out of the most important parts - you'll just have a dirty bottom *chuckle*
