Play ball!

It was a great game - the Reds won, 7-2! We scored 4 runs in the 7th, an inning that went on so eternally long that the children started to complain about it. But too bad! It was a terrific inning, the sort of thing you love to see, if you're not a Mets fan, and we all had a good time.

Look! There's Adam Dunn!

And here's the official tally of Ken Griffey Jr's career home runs. Six hundred and five. *beams* I was on the left-field side of the park, and much too far away to get a decent picture of Ken, though I tried.

It's too bad I wasn't able to get a decent picture of Brandon Phillips, either - he's my favorite Red.

This was our view of the infield - we really had great seats, a good view of all the action. I only wish I could remember who's at bat here. (It's not Brandon, though. Bummer. Hi Brandon!)

And there were five people knitting in my row alone, so the knitters were well represented at Great American Ball Park last night. Next time: a picture of the edging of my Pi Shawl, which I started yesterday afternoon. Right on schedule! Sort of!

Sounds like you had a great time. Five knitters in your row? Sounds like a good turn-out!
