Mittens 'n cats

Hey! I hope everyone is having a happy holiday season, as we are. Been knitting a little, playing a lot of games (especially cribbage, which we've just learned), chasing what seems like several dozen cats out of the tree. I've checked: there really are only two of them. They're amazingly fast.

I finished my first Mitten from Pakistan! It's beautiful, but surprisingly hard to photograph; the colors keep washing out. This was on its way to being the best picture I'd taken, until...


...Hazel's butt intervened. It's still not a bad picture, as cats are pretty cute even from that end, but here's the best cat-butt-free picture I have.
