Back on track.

For a couple of days, after making The List, I didn't do anything about it. Oh, I did stuff, and I even did crafty stuff, such as sifting through my embroidery patterns and ironing a couple of them onto fabric for future stitchin'. But the stuff on The List, not so much, until Saturday, when I finally said to myself I sez, "All right. Pick up that Fred and George sock and finish it, for crying out loud."

So I did. I finished it Saturday night while we were watching "Notes on a Scandal." (A movie you should totally watch. I've been trying for the last ten minutes to express my admiration for Dame Judi Dench without sounding like a crazy obsessed person, and apparently it can't be done. I think she's marvelous, we'll just leave it at that.)

And then, Sunday morning, I said, "Good job on the sock. Now start that second mitten."

So I did, and it looks a bit like a mad spider at the moment, but it's started.

And then, after a lengthy discussion on Ravelry about whether Real Men Wear Scarves (the verdict: of course they do), I thought, "I wonder if I can find a picture of Simon Pegg wearing a scarf?" So I did. Okay, that might have happened Saturday, I forget. But never let it be said that real men don't wear scarves!
