Everyone should be warned that I actually am learning to speak French. Twenty-five years after first setting foot in a classroom where they taught me to say "Bonjour" and "Comment ca va?" and "Oui, j'aime le fromage," I am getting serious about learning this language. I've always loved the sound of French, and it's a good idea to know a second language, n'est-ce pas? And someday I'll get to Paris.
I can already say some fairly important things. "Je tricot tous mes chaussettes," par exemple. Et "J'ai besoin d'une biere," et "Mon accent, c'est bizarre."
I wish I could get my computer to put in accents. Several of these words need accents.
So! What am I doing on this second blogiversary, besides making French people wish I'd shut up?
That pretty little pyramid of leftover wool bits has decided it would really love to be a baby blanket for Afghans for Afghans. I had so much fun making Katelynn's Blanket that I'm making this one in the same style!
