In the garden

Usually, in early July, I have a few ripe tomatoes in the garden and my basil plant is huge and lush and gorgeous.

This year, my tomatoes are still green...

...and my basil is looking a bit peaked. It usually doesn't look like this till the end of August, for heaven's sake. And a spider has taken up full-time residence in it, which just gives me the heebiejeebies.

Oh! But I did finish Juno Regina!

She's blocking. And she's lovely. Another outdoor photo shoot, and full project details, tomorrow!
