It'll be just like starting over.

Yesterday morning, I did something that can only be explained by the cavernous empty-head feeling that comes with a head cold.

I started my novel all over again. I suddenly realized that there were a couple of background characters clamoring to have their story told rightnow, and since the main characters were being strangely silent, I decided to shift things around and listen to the background characters. Who are now the main characters. Upshot: I went back to square one on NaNoWriMo Day Four.

And then I whipped out 3600 words yesterday, which is considerably more than I had whipped out during the first three days, so clearly my cavernous empty head and I made the right decision. This is going to be great.

Also, I didn't knit a single stitch yesterday. Ah well, these things happen. I hope to finish the first Asparagus Cable Sock by tonight, so next post might include an actual Picture of Knitting!

Good grief - 3600 words? It's like being at school again!
