I love curling. I discovered it when we lived in Michigan; we had CBC on our cable system, and we used to watch curling matches fairly often. Then we moved, and it turns out that the rest of the US? The bits that don't border Canada? Not so much with the curling. That's a real shame. It's so much fun to watch, and it's a great sport, one that requires a lot of strategy and skill and strength, and I wish we could get a little more of it happening around here. But for now, I've got the Olympic curling, and I'm enjoying it tremendously.
Here's my Canadian Curling Scarf, also sometimes known as the Curling Hooligan scarf.
The Canadian curling teams are amazing. Gold-medal amazing. It's a joy to watch them at work, and I just had to stitch up a scarf in their colors. Team Canada rocks!
(Ha! Rocks! That was a curling joke.)
