Someone please explain the laws of physics to this ball of yarn! I don't have the energy, after knitting four pattern repeats and having the ball be the exact same size it was before.
Otherwise, Copperline is going well. I like the pattern. I have finally memorized the pattern. I keep on knitting the pattern without actually using any yarn, apparently. I may not finish by the end of August (that was my original goal, but with tomorrow being the end of August I'm just not holding my breath), but I will certainly finish by Labor Day.
Speaking of finished, there's another pair of socks in the world.
Lovely! These are Fools Rush, KnitPicks Stroll in Butternut, 2.75mm double-points. The pattern is really well-written; I think it would be great for a beginning sock-knitter who wanted to try something a little challenging, because everything is explained so well. Which is not to say experienced sock-knitters shouldn't try it, because they should, it's fantastic.
And, I started another scarf.

This is called Pimpelliese, and I'm finally using the Crazy Zauberball I bought at Wool Gathering two years ago. These colors are amazing, and the wool is really soft and lovely, just wonderful. I hope to finish this in time to wear it to this year's Wool Gathering.
