Boyfriend hat

It's high time y'all met Simon. He's my boyfriend.


Simon is an actor (and a writer), and he has on a couple of occasions played a chap named Tim. Tim has these two really cool hats.


A couple of years ago, a fellow Raveler wrote up a pattern for Tim's Chocolate beanie, and I've finally knit one for myself.


Nice! The yarn is Knitpicks Merino Style DK (which I've decided is the perfect yarn for a hat; it's warm and comfy, not even a tiny bit itchy) in Moss and Hollyberry, and I used a 3.75mm circular needle.

I keep thinking I ought to reverse-engineer and knit up Tim's black and white hat - it's an excellent hat, but looks much more complicated than the Chocolate beanie. I'll need to watch a lot more "Spaced."
