And now: a scarf with an identity crisis.

My lovely, squishy, soft, Fruity Mohair Scarf has gone back to being called Kid Mohair Scarf (ETA: sort of) in the UFO Count. I spent three or four days thinking of it as Fruity Mohair, and then this afternoon, while I was crocheting it, loop after loop after loop, I thought, "Ha ha! Fruit Loops!" and the name Froot Loops (let's spell it right, for heaven's sake) started to feel right. Less than two hours later, my daughter came home from school and said, "Ooh! You're working on your Nothing Scarf!" Turns out she calls it the Nothing Scarf because it weighs nothing, and that's a good name, too.

Mr. Goomba presents: the Scarf with More Names than you can Shake a Stick At.

Thanks for the good wishes as regards my arm - it's going to be fine! I'm off the Wii Baseball till it heals completely, but I might still allow myself a little Wii Bowling. (Much as I love Real Life Bowling, I'm better at Wii Bowling.) (Also, it's totally weird to type "Wii," especially several times in a row.)
