I am on a roll with a side of slaw.

I seem to have picked up a touch of finishitis from Beth...don't you love how these things are contagious through the internet? Wonderful.

Mr. Goomba presents the Kid Mohair Scarf!

Begun way the heck back in September, neglected since October at least, and finally finished. It's soft and fluffy and light, and it's going around my neck this afternoon. It's just a basic double-crochet scarf, made with two balls (less, actually - I have some of each color left over) of Crystal Palace Kid Merino and a size I hook. It's about six feet long, and it looks really excellent folded in half with the two ends pulled through the loop. Some scarves look great like that, I've noticed, and some don't - this one definitely does! I couldn't get it to work on Mr. Goomba, though. Bless him, his necklessness doesn't keep him from being a fantastic scarf model.

My UFO Count is down to five. Seriously! I don't know what's gotten into me! Next thing you know I'll be finishing up that four-and-a-half-year-old blanket! (Hee hee...I made myself laugh just then.)
