They say blogging is a dying art, because of Facebook and Twitter and whatnot, but honestly, I'd rather blog. And I think I'd rather read a blog. To be fair, I've resisted Facebook so far, so I can't really say whether I'd rather read a blog than a Facebook page. There's one Twitter feed that I check out on a regular basis, so I can say I'd rather read a blog than a Twitter feed. Anyway, to my blogging friends, keep on blogging! Please! And I'll do the same.
Look, I got a half-decent picture of Tappan Zee. It's kind of starting to look like a cardigan!

I love that there won't be any sewing-up to do at the end of this. Plenty of ends to weave in, but no seams! Excellent.
I also, finally, started the second Dragonfly Sock. No picture of the actual creature, but it looks like this, only shorter. I sure am knitting a lot of orange things lately. I like orange. It's so cheerful, and it goes really well with my hair! (Which is not orange. Not yet, anyway. I'm thinking that when I'm much older, I'll dye it a super-bright shade of orange. Ask me in thirty years, I'll have decided for sure by then!)
