The mittens will not match the legwarmers, and that's okay.

Did I actually say "Next up: a pair of stranded mittens" in my last post? Don't I know better by now than to announce what I'm going to knit next?? Because that's the best way to ensure that I'll cast on something else altogether.

Not that legwarmers are a bad thing to be knitting, in this weather.


Finally - a legwarmer pattern that has made it past the four-inch mark of the first legwarmer! And it's not even a legwarmer pattern, really. It's Hello Yarn's Irish Hiking Scarf, rearranged for legwarmers. I rearranged it myself, and I love it. This is really, really going to work. And then, stranded mittens. For sure.
