Not much to report. Michael Palin is in Nepal, and I am still plugging away at Himalaya Shawl. Also about four times a day I have to talk myself out of starting a new sock; the sheer willpower required is making me break out in the occasional cold sweat.
On the other hand, I have to attend two end-of-year school awards ceremonies today, and no crafty-type thing travels better than a sock. I know what I said about Town & Country, but can a person really be expected to knit a lace scarf while sitting in a school gymnasium? It sounds dangerous. Those folding chairs are loaded with little pointy metal bits that could easily snag a lace scarf. Whereas a sock sits quietly in your lap while you knit round and round and round...
I'm sweating again.
