Laurel Highlands

Done! I finished it up Friday night, and blocked it this morning. In fact, it's blocking in this picture. It's done now, so I'll have to get an Action Shot of it, maybe draped over a chair. Or a cat...nah, too dangerous. Might get the wrong kind of action, the kind involving claws and teeth. A chair it shall be. Oh, the picture! Right. Here it is.

Laurel Highlands was knit from one skein of KnitPicks Gossamer in the Blue Jeans colorway, on 4mm needles. The pattern is called Blue Jeans Leaf Lace, and it's a terrific pattern, I recommend it if you're looking to knit an easy but pretty shawl with not a whole lot of yarn. It is smallish - it's a shoulder shawl, not a full-size one - but I really like it, and I hope the recipient does, too!

Beautiful - and so quick! I'm sure the recipient will love it. :-)
