Despite my claim that I had checked every single tote bag in the house, I found it this morning in a Trader Joe's tote bag. (In my defense, there are a lot of tote bags around here. But still. There it was, in a tote bag, right in the living room, which might be the most embarrassing part.)
The plan was to take a picture of the blanket with the tote bag that kept it so very, very safe for several weeks. However, Hazel was sure she heard the rustle of a tote bag, and Fred was convinced that he heard a blanket being spread out, and they both materialized in an instant. "O hai! Let us help! No, we insist!" So I let them help. Now to put the blanket back into the UFO list (I had removed it, what with not knowing where it was and all) and finish it up!
