...and more footwear!

Presenting Miss Twinkletoes Dashwood. (Thank you, Nana!)

Miss D's Twinkletoes are knit in Knitpicks Merino Style in Iris, on 4mm needles.

This is a great pattern, and these are the cutest slippers ever. They knit up really fast, and - this is the best part - all in one piece. Including the ties and the ribbed edging! One piece! And, did I mention, they're so cute. They are also open to some seriously darling interpretation; a couple of people on Ravelry have knit these with just one short tie, which comes across the top of the foot and buttons on the other side, like a Mary Jane. Now really: I might need to work up a pair of those for myself. (Y'all knew I'd say that eventually.)

But here's what I'm working up for myself in the meantime...

It's a No Purl Monkey! Like a Monkey, but you knit the purls. I have a pair of Monkeys that I love, so I thought it was time to try the No Purl version. This yarn is Trekking Hand Art in the Jamaica colorway, which I was given in a Ravelry swap (thanks, Evey!), and it is perfectly wonderful.
