Tappan Zee

No, not the bridge, which I can't remember whether I've ever been on. I keep trying to remember exactly what our route was from Maine to Virginia eight years ago. New York was involved, of course, but did we cross that bridge? Where's my atlas?

I do get sidetracked. No, I mean the cardigan. This one, right here, blocking away happily on a bath towel in the living room.

Tappan Zee was knit with 6 full skeins (and a teeny little bit of a seventh) of Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool in Orange, on 5mm needles. I tried it on before I blocked it, and it was a bit wonky, but the blocking is going to take care of that. I remain defiantly hopeful on this point.

I will report back when it's dry and I can try it on and find that it fits beautifully, and when I've located some buttons for it. (First task: locate my button box.) I'll also report back when I figure out whether we crossed the Tappan Zee eight years ago. (Second task: locate my atlas.)
