Saroyan

On Thursday afternoon I finished Saroyan, and it is gorgeous. I cannot get over those leaves, I just love them.


I haven't blocked it yet, though it could use a bit of blocking, just to even things out a bit.


I have worn it three times, though. If I keep wearing it, I'll convince myself that it doesn't really need blocking, and then it will get put away for the summer and I'll have to face the Blocking Question again next fall.

The lovely Saroyan was knit on 6.5mm needles, with two balls of Cleckheaton Merino Plus in this beautiful color that I'm thinking of as "ashes of roses." (Two points if you can name the brilliant piece of literature I stole "ashes of roses" from.) (Three points if you can correct the grammar in that last parenthetical.)
