So much for the socks.

I'm all sidetracked again. I meant to finish the second Hermione sock this weekend, and start the second Hey Pais, but:


I started a shawl on Friday.


And I bought my two favorite cross-stitch magazines yesterday.


Today, El Fuego and I went to a movie...


...and I stitched a couple of buttons. I've been reading about these self-cover buttons in my stitching mags for ages, but I haven't been able to find them locally, so I was thrilled that the March issue of Cross Stitcher came with a set of six. Now I'm going to have to find an online source for them, or else go mad. Mad, I tell you! How adorable are these? These two are for the kids, and I've got four left (and a bunch of great patterns to choose from) to stitch for myself.
