Bring me a shrubbery

Horatio's Diamond Waffle Socks are well underway; I turned the heel of the first one last night. It's a very nice looking sock.


Too bad my photography is a bit crap. I thought about going out back and trying a Nature Shot, because those often turn out well, but it rained the entire month of April and for three days already in May, and I'm afraid the sock would float away, never to be seen again. (The sun is shining today, which is a lovely surprise!)

Okay, wait. The neighbors already think I'm eccentric, so there's no harm in taking this sock and the camera into the front yard, which is not flooded, and attempting a Nature Shot. Please hold.


Hey, that looks all right! I'm having a lot of trouble getting the diamond pattern to show up...maybe when it's finished and I can get a picture of it on an actual foot, it will show the pattern. But meanwhile, there it is, looking good and resting in a shrub, which is really perfectly normal.

In this neighborhood, anyway.
