A scarf, and new blogging thing.

Aaaaugh, I've just logged in to find they've changed the blogging ... thing. Software? Website? Listen, I don't know how this works, I only know what it's looked like for the last five years and this is unfamiliar territory. It all still looks the same from the outside, but in here it's all rearranged and a bit scary. (I sound like a Luddite, which is also scary.)

Okay! Back to what I came in here for in the first place! Here's Mr. Goomba, wearing my nice new Fibonacci scarf. It was knit on 5mm needles with some leftover Lion Brand Cotton-Ease in Charcoal and Snow.

The black garter-stitch ridges represent the Fibonacci sequence through 34, after which I just did 4-ridge stripes till I ran out of black yarn. All the white stripes are four ridges, except at the end which I just knit in solid white till it was long enough. It's probably evident from my baffling description that I didn't think much about this scarf in advance; I just went with it. I was lucky enough to have Fibonacci telling me how many garter ridges to knit each time, so ... you know. Anyway! Cool scarf!

Ooh, look how easy it is to change fonts now. And I can cross things out without going into HTML, that's cool. Changing font color now! I can also change the text background color, but I don't think I'll do that. AND I just accidentally deleted my picture whilst fooling around with the new blogging thing, so I'll go put the picture back in and sign out before I do any more damage. I guess the new blogging thing is going to be all right.
