My third attempt at National Novel Writing Month, friends and loved ones, has been a success. Please look to the left to see my fabulous, wonderful, brilliant winner's badge.
I won.
I won.
I WON!!!
Thank you for all the support, and for your willingness to listen to me blather on so much about writing this month. (Even if you went off and read Crazy Aunt Purl when you saw that I was blathering about writing again - I totally understand, and thank you anyway.) I will let everyone know if it ever reaches any sort of publication status, and whether Michael Nesmith gives his permission for me to continue calling the novel "Papa Gene's Blues." Not that I've asked yet. (Hi, Michael Nesmith! Love you!)
Tomorrow, after the family and I have had a big wonderful Thanksgiving feast and several naps and maybe a Mario Party, the management of this here blog will return you to your regularly scheduled blathering about knitting, and next time I may even have some pictures of a slightly longer Dragon Scales scarf, a Moss-Stitch scarf, and a brand new Tibetan Silk neck warmer, all in progress. (Must find out the proper name for that Tibetan silk yarn. I bought it in Yellow Springs last year and finally figured out something to do with it. Hazel just loves the way it smells.) I'll probably also have another kitty picture or two, speaking of Hazel. She and Fred both love to bat at the knobs on the end of my knitting needles while I knit. They're cute little devils.
Gotta go bake some biscuits. Happy Thanksgiving!
