The Legend of...um, this scarf.

Here's a fresh, up-to-the-minute picture of my moss-stitch scarf. It's doing its Mark of Zorro impression!

This is the only thing I'm knitting lately. Yep, I came to my senses and put away the Gift of Christmas Next that I cast on last week. What was I thinking? I'll be lucky if I don't forget where I put it between now and then!

Anyway, the moss stitch is nice and relaxing, and usually puts my annual Pre-Christmas Freakout to rest. You know, the usual fretting that no one will like what you got them for Christmas, and whose idea was all this gift-giving anyway, and why do we do this to ourselves, and Charlie Brown was right, Christmas is too commercial, and next year everyone is getting a hat and a nice tangerine. (What do you mean, you don't do that? It's just me?...oh. Right, then. Good thing the moss stitch takes care of it!)

ETA: I just noticed, the scarf is also doing its Daniel Striped Tiger impression. I think it just got a new name!
