Neckwear

Here's Mr. Goomba, looking very cosy in my recently-finished Lacy Baktus.

I knit this on 3.75mm needles with the leftover alpaca (nearly a whole skein of Drops Alpaca in Olive Mix) from my Alpaca Gloves, the ends of which are still not woven in. Must get around to that before it gets properly cold outside. And then, matching gloves and scarf! Which is unusual for me!

Mr. Goomba is not quite so fond of the Man (or Anyone) Cowl.

Don't listen to him. It's a very comfy and good-looking cowl, and it will be given as a gift along with Graham. It was knit on 5mm needles with Knitpicks Full Circle in Denim. It's a nifty pattern, once you get used to shifting the beginning of the round one stitch to the right every single time - that's what makes the purl stitches spiral like they do. Just in case you decide to knit it I'm going to give you a CraftyPeach Top Knitting Tip: have two stitch markers to hand. That way, when you get to the end of a round, you can slip one marker on, knit the first stitch of the new round, and remove the other marker. Very un-fiddly. (It will make sense if you decide to knit the cowl. Trust me!)
